      Street Dance

      Availability - Primary Schools

Our excellent street dance clubs deliver an exciting and fun experience right to your school, offering any child the chance to explore the benefits of dance and movement in a fun and encouraging learning environment. Every term is built around our motto: Play, Progress, Perform

      • PLAY: Fun performance games that encourage teamwork, raise confidence and promote a supportive learning environment.
      • PROGRESS: Explorative dance-school style activities that teach fundamental performance techniques and skills like isolation, choreography and physical awareness.
      • PERFORM: End-of-term performances for parents and school assemblies where pupils perform unique dance routines from the extensive purpose-created Zylo Performance routine library and showcase their own creative work.
Our tutors are talented and passionate about street dance

We feel privileged to be able to work with children the way that we do and are fuelled by the prospect of watching each student's understanding, skill and confidence grow

      - Ryan Barker, Director and tutor - Zylo Performance

Dance can benefit children's ability to learn new information because it stimulates the brain's visual, auditory, and memory centres

For creative performance driven children, we offer a rounded club that delivers entry-level basics through to a deep understanding of dance, stagecraft and performance art. For fun seekers we offer a chance to work with others, play an array of (secretly) educational games and learn something new and exciting that can be applied outside of the club to life and work.

The Play, Progress, Perform structure allows our brilliant tutors to create a fun and supportive club atmosphere. Teamwork is key and children are encouraged to voice their ideas and work together to achieve a final product. Dance provides excellent physical and social benefits to young people, encouraging synchronisation of body and mind. Our dance clubs are designed to extend these benefits to a wide variety of children.
